AND OUR PRIORITIES ARE TO HELP IN ANY WAY WE CAN WITH THE WATER SITUATION, TO PRESERVE JULIANNE'S PLAYGROUND, WHICH WE'VE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR, IS CHERISHED, PLACE, MINIMIZE THE IMPACT OF ANY KIND OF PUMPS OR INFRASTRUCTURE LIKE THAT.

I CAUGHT HER CAUGHT HER HERE SEVERAL TIMES, WAY, WAY PAST MY BEDTIME, WHERE SHE WAS LIKE EDITING PAPERS AND GOING OVER PRESENTATIONS AND WENT REALLY, REALLY ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT SOMEONE WHO JUST HAS THIS AMOUNT OF TEACHING IN THAT CLASS WOULD NORMALLY DO.

THIS IS ONE OF TWO MAJOR COMPETITIONS HELD IN OUR AREA IN ORDER TO RECOGNIZE, HIGH QUALITY RESEARCH.

IN ADDITION, I THINK THERE ARE LONG HELD TRADITIONS IN THIS DISTRICT THAT I'VE SEEN AND THE CONSTRUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN ENABLED BY BOARDS OF EDUCATION, THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE COMMUNITY, AND THE WAY THAT THERE'S A PROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE THAT I MAY NOT HAVE SEEN IN OTHER PLACES BEFORE IN OTHER SCHOOL SYSTEMS. THAT HAS FASCINATED ME ABOUT THIS PLACE, IN THIS SCHOOL SYSTEM.
SO THAT MAKES ME BELIEVE THAT THAT THAT I THINK DATA WE THAT ALAN SHARED VALIDATES SORT OF MY PERSPECTIVE IN TERMS OF SPECIFIC ACTIONS. YOU KNOW, I DO BELIEVE THAT THERE'S A HEALTHY RESPECT AMONG TEACHERS AND ALSO ADMINISTRATORS AND PARENTS TO BELIEVE OR NOT.
RIGHT. AND TEACHERS AND, AND, AND I THINK THAT CULTURE HAS SORT OF HELPED PEOPLE FEEL ESPECIALLY MAYBE THEIR ACTIONS OF SAYING, I'M MAKING IT A CAREER HERE.
I WE DON'T HAVE A RETENTION PROBLEM.
RIGHT? YOU SEE THAT WITH THE STRONGER EVEN THE SOME OF THE STRONGEST RESPONSES OF POSITIVITY WITH SENSE OF BELONGING, THE BEGINNING, THE FIRST FEW YEARS THAT THAT THAT'S GREAT NEWS, RIGHT? THE FIRST FIVE YEARS PEOPLE ARE FEELING REALLY STRONGLY.
WE DO HAVE A LULL, THE SOPHOMORE SLUMP.

AND IT GOES BACK TO THAT SENSE OF DIGNITY THAT YOU HAVE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND THAT HUMAN QUALITY.
RIGHT? I THINK I THINK STUDENTS AND FEEL THAT AS WELL.
BUT BUT IN TERMS OF THE STAFF.
THAT'S THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVE.
BUT THEY'RE THE ONES THAT WE ENTRUST TO HELP THAT ORGANIZATION MAKE PEOPLE FEEL A CERTAIN WAY, AND THEY'RE THE ONES WHO ARE GOING TO HELP US TRY TO TAKE THE DATA APART AND SAY, HEY, WE SHOULD DO MORE OF THIS, RIGHT? SO, YOU KNOW, AS IAN SAID, YOU KNOW, THAT POSITIVITY OR WHAT WE'RE DOING, WELL, LET'S CAPITALIZE ON IT AND LOOK AT IT.
SO BUT AGAIN, THAT'S JUST SORT OF MY INITIAL THOUGHTS WHEN I LOOKED AT THIS INFORMATION.

SOME SCHOOL DISTRICTS ARE SEEING REDUCTIONS UP TO CLOSE TO $1 MILLION IN THEIR STATE AID.

AND IN THIS INSTANCE, IT THERE WASN'T A LOT OF PREP TIME.
IT TOOK A LOT OF DISTRICTS BY SURPRISE.
